They recently released a new set of TFT patch notes and fixed some of the most talked-about issues recently. Warcraft 3 1.30.2 has been released for the Public Test Realm (PTR) version by Blizzard Entertaiment. This new version brings support for 24 players (custom games), compatibility for widescreen, update of the Map Pools for 1’s, 2’s, 3’s, 4’s and “Free-for-All”, improvements on the World Editor, bug fixes, among other changes in the game balance.

Installation

– Download Warcraft-III-Public-Test-Setup.exe file…
– Run Warcraft-III-Public-Test-Setup.exe file as an administrator (right-click on the patch file and select “Run as administrator”)…

– Now, select English language…

– Accept (check the box) the agreement of lincencia and continue…

– Wait for installation to finish…

– When the installation is finished, launch the game…

– When you start the game you must enter the cd-keys of the WarCraft 3 Reign of Chaos and WarCraft 3 The Frozen Throne games.

Errors & Solutions

– Warcraft III Public Test was unable to initialize. Error 0.
This error occurs when the game has not been closed correctly. Run the “windows task manager” (Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc), click on the “Processes” tab, locate the file “Warcraft III.Exe” or “Wacraft III”, select and close it by clicking on “End process”. Now run the game again.

– DotA Maps Crashes.
Warcraft 3 PTR is not compatible with the 6.88 dota maps created by DracoL1ch, if you want to play DotA use the DotA 6.85k version, or the old maps created by Icefrog as DotA 6.83d.

Notes

– Warcraft PTR is a independent client, is installed in a different folder than the stable version (1.26, 1.27+, 1.28+), both versions can work on the same PC without creating any conflicts.
– To switch from WC3 TFT to WC3 ROC, click on the icon (in-game).
– DotA maps supported : DotA 6.85k, DotA 6.83d, DotA 6.83d fixed v2 by h3rmit.
– DotA AI maps supported: DotA 6.88 Ai, DotA 6.83d Ai, DotA 6.81b Ai, and others dota ai maps.
– Warcraft III 1.30.2 PTR does not work with the series of maps +6.88 (Such as 6.88v6, 6.88v3, etc) created by DracoL1ch, when starting a game it produce crashes.
– The War3TFT_129_English.exe file is no longer available.
– CD keys valid are required to play online on the official Blizzard Public Test Realm server (US WEST).
– If you wish to play in Battle.net, you can buy the game cdkeys in the blizzard store or G2A.
– The PTR version is only available in English language.

Teamfight Tactics isn’t a stand-alone game, even if it feels that way. It’s a game mode in League of Legends. If you want to play the autobattler extraordinaire, you need to create an account and download the client.

If you already have a League account, don’t worry. All you need to do is log in and head to the fourth tab in the top right of the client. Select Teamfight Tactics and press play. It’s as simple as that.

Anyone can download the client and get started with TFT. You will, however, have to create an account and download League in its entirety, including its patches. It’s a bit of a pain, especially if you’re more of a Dota fan and you’re not interested in League, but it’s the only way.

To create an account and download the client, click here, enter your email address and any other relevant information, and once you’re done, navigate your way to the download button. After you’ve downloaded the game, follow the instructions to install. You’ll now most likely have to spend some time patching the game, but it shouldn’t take too long. If your computer is up to scratch and your internet is running smoothly, it’ll take no time at all.
